2024 Membership Update

To our valued Midnight Riders members,

The Midnight Riders Board (the Board)—both our Executive and At-Large Board members—recently discussed the current price of Riders membership as it reflects the costs the organization faces annually.

Our membership price has been the same since our founding in 1995 and is still among the lowest of all MLS supporter groups across North America. Unfortunately, in a post-pandemic world, the costs of everything associated with operating a nonprofit social organization have increased. That includes costs we didn’t incur a decade or two ago: a trailer that requires insurance and registration annually, a PO Box to streamline mail correspondence, printing, and web fees, to name a few.

Due to these expenses and the need to ensure our operating budget can meet them, the Board met and, after much deliberation, voted on a new fee structure for Midnight Riders membership, beginning with the 2024 season (effective immediately):
Individual – $20
Family – $40
**Auto-renew has been disabled on all existing accounts ahead of this pricing change in an effort to be as transparent as possible. Manual renewals will open on January 1. You will be required to enter new payment information. Please also double check your mailing address as we get several member packs back each year.

Our goal is to maintain everything our current budget calls for, set aside a small stipend for an IT position and artists who would like to contribute to design ideas for merchandise and tifo and raise more than one tifo per season. We hope you understand the group’s needs as we look to the future and the dream of a new stadium on the horizon. We strive to make the Riders as accessible, welcoming, and inclusive as possible so this was not a decision taken lightly. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your continual support throughout each season,
The Midnight Riders Board

Supporters Cup 2023

The Riders and Rebels are back at it competing for the Supporters Cup this year on July 29th! The match will be played in the Socios.com Field House this year due to scheduling issues. We are happy about the shade that will be provided! The game will be played at 4:00 PM.

If you’re looking to come check out the match, please purchase a Spectator Ticket, here!

The proceeds from this match will go towards Soccer Without Borders – Boston from the Midnight Riders.

The easiest directions to get to the parking lot for the Socios.com Field House are from a nondescript “Parking lot” created in the Gillette Stadium area, use this link to find your easiest way to arrive!

Maple Syrup Derby begets Maple Syrup Contest

This Saturday, April 8th, we welcome our rivals from Montreal down for our annual Maple Syrup Derby. We invite you to enter our inaugural Maple Syrup Contest and finally show our friends in 1642 MTL, whose Rich Amber is truly the best.

Submit a sample of your favorite local New England or Canadian Maple Syrup, and we’ll hold a taste test at the tailgate.

While entry into the competition is free, a $5 donation is required to sample and vote, with all proceeds going to benefit The Forest Society of Maine. We look forward to finally deciding, at least this year, whose maple syrup is superior! (Please note, for those celebrating, maple syrup is kosher for Passover.)

Sign up here to put your favorite syrup to the test!
