Craig’s Corner

I am writing this real quick, so you all can get going for Saturday’s tailgate.

This will (hopefully) be the first annual Craig’s Corner Tailgater of the Year award presentation, which will be announced at the last home tailgate of the season.

All you need to do is bring your best food and atmosphere which will then be judged by myself and others (aka the ’secret panel’). This will happen every tailgate this season at Gillette, and I will be keeping a collection of notes and results.

I will come up with some sort of prize or trophy, so you will actually win something other than bragging rights. That’s it. So stay tuned to this column, and get to it!

I will try my best to get to everyone in who wants to be entered, but it may be better/easier to come find my car at the tailgate where myself and my panel of judges can rate your dish.

consider this weekend a dry run, as hopefully I will be able to work out a more formal plan. I am also thinking of having categories like “Best Overall Food” and “Best Tailgate Atmosphere”.
