When last season ended I’m pretty sure everyone had reached their saturation point with the Revs.  The injuries, the lack of results, and the mid-week games made that last game against the Fire seem more like a relief than anything.

But here we are again, just a few weeks away from the season, ready as always.  Even those of us that swore off the team (you know who you are) are probably gearing up and trying to figure out where to go to catch the game (more on that later this week).

This blog is going to take on a new format.  I’m going to try and collect all of the interesting things going on in the league from other news sources and discuss them with a Riders’ slant.  I am also going to keep you up-to-date on viewing parties and other Midnight Rider activities as well.

I toyed with the idea of writing a season preview but there are plenty of other good ones out there.  Like this one from Kyle McCarthy.  He’s been providing some fantastic pre-season coverage and is even down in Cary, North Carolina with the Revs in anticipation of their final tune-up against the Carolina Railhawks.

So that’s what is going to be going on here everyday.  It will also be way funnier than this post was, if you know me personally you’re probably shocked by the lack of top-notch jokes. Sorry.
